Dominick J. Salfi

Dominick J. Salfi, Esq. focuses his practice in the areas of business law, commercial litigation, family law and divorce, and foreclosure defense. Mr. Salfi also assists clients in the entertainment and motion picture industries with business law, contract creation and review, and intellectual property issues.

Mr. Salfi is a leader in the Seminole County and Orange County, Florida legal communities. Mr. Salfi was appointed as a Circuit Judge of the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit in 1970. Mr. Salfi was the youngest Circuit Judge to hold such office in the history of Florida at that time.

During his tenor as Circuit Judge, Mr. Salfi had the opportunity to serve temporarily as an Associate Judge in the Fourth District Court of Appeals and as an Associate Justice of the State Supreme Court. Mr. Salfi also served in the following capacities:

• Chief Judge of the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit
• Instructor at the National Judicial College on Decision-Making
• Instructor at the National Counsel of Juvenile and Family Court
• Judges on Sentencing
• Contributor to the Juvenile Arbitration Program
• Advocate of the Shared Parenting Legislation for Florida

Prior to serving as a Circuit Judge, Mr. Salfi was appointed State Attorney for the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit. Mr. Salfi accomplishments in private practice include becoming the first American attorney to defend a United States Citizen on Cuban soil. Mr. Salfi's efforts in Cuba gained world wide media coverage.
